The sale of a home was no simple feat, in the pre-pandemic period. So, just imagine having to unexpectedly sell your home in the midst of the pandemic and lockdown restrictions in February 2021 because your life circumstances change. Moving, packing and prepping your home in hopes that you receive the best value possible is undeniably an emotional process. In addition to selling my home, I needed a brokerage that would be able to support me with finding a condominium apartment for rent. I needed a healing and rejuvenating space. The Bespoke Real Estate Team was best suited for the job, and I knew it. I approached Theepan Bala regarding the sale of my house, and Majury regarding the search for perfect condo rental.

When you’re selling a detached Scarborough Bungalow, with a walk-out basement that leads to a beautiful ravine lot; you want to make sure that you’re working with someone who specializes in homes in the area. Our first offer didn’t quite work out the way we wanted it to, which obviously resulted in a sense of disappointment. I had many questions throughout the buying process and Theepan always answered them in a timely and helpful manner. He also asked the right questions to determine what my definition of a ‘perfect home’ (style, pricing, neighbourhood, etc. etc.) before making recommendations on prospective homes. I really appreciated his patience and availability – especially spending many evenings and weekends looking at homes in different neighbourhoods, different styles of houses, renovated/non-renovated homes, etc. until I found exactly what I wanted. I never felt any pressure from Theepan to put in an offer on a house I did not want. He is also very knowledgeable of the market and provided very frank feedback about the properties (pros and cons).
